Aggression

Jane tried to open the bottle several times, but it didn’t open. Next, she used a piece of cloth because she thought her hands were wet, but it didn’t work either.

Finally, she asked her husband for help. “Honey, could you please help me open this bottle,” she asked politely.

He frowned and snatched the bottle from her. In one turn, he opened the bottle. “Thank you, dear?” she whispered with a wide smile on her face.

“Don’t thank me?” he replied. “It’s hard to believe you can’t open this bottle,” he added.

“So, what would you have done if I wasn’t here,”? He continued.
“Jane, you need my help in every little thing,”. “There is absolutely nothing you are good at,” he yelled.

“Is it because of the bottle that you are saying all these to me,”? she cried!

“Yes, I am furious,” “You haven’t served lunch because you couldn’t open that bottle.” He signed.

Peter walked into his office and bolted the door. He quickly ordered food from a restaurant. The restaurant told him they would take 45 minutes to prepare his food.

Twenty minutes later, his wife served him his favourite dish. He began eating like a horse. Jane sat and watched how he swallowed the bowl of soup.

Tears were running down his cheeks because it was hot and spicy. Peter licked and sucked his fingers so loud to show how good the food tasted.

Just when he was about to swallow the last bite of chicken, the doorbell rang.

Jane rushed and opened the door and saw a delivery man with food.

She turned and looked at Peter, dumbfounded.

What do you think happened next?

If you were Jane, what will you do?

Talking Classroom

It's been over a month that my students have stayed at home because of COVID-19.

Yesterday I entered my classroom, and the chairs turned and looked at me surprisingly.

Why are you here? The smart board asked with this angry look on his face. I had switched him off for a long time, and he was enjoying the silence in the classroom.

Where is everyone? I asked. “Inside the cupboard” Activity Books answered. “You shouldn’t be here now” Learners Books added.

But this is the third period! It’s English, I replied. English! The whiteboard exclaimed, and the Erasers burst out laughing.

Go away, go away, Ms Rhodesse, the speakers yelled. You can’t be here without them, she added. Tears dropped from my eyeballs as I ran outside.

Everywhere was deaths silent, so I leaned on the fence of the football ground and thought about everything that happened.

Finally, the football ground said, “They used to love playing here, I miss them and I want them back”. I do too, I replied, heading home to pray for their return.

" You can't be here without them," sadly.

A classroom cannot be whole without students.

                       Go away, COVID-19.😭😭😭😭

Wonder World

It was like a graveyard when he entered his apartment. The floor was so clean that it held his feet and walked him to the dining table. He smelled something delicious.

It was his favourite soup. The soup persuaded him to use a spoon, but he was so scared. It surprised him to watch everything staring at him. The spoons were dancing all around the table and calling his name. Candles were blowing kisses at his face.

He began daydreaming about the world of wonder in front of him. But when he heard his favourite song playing, he woke up and called out the name of his wife. No one answered him.

After ten minutes, his wife appeared and answered: Yes, darling.
What's the occasion? He asked. A thank you festival, she replied. Thank you festival? He asked worriedly. Thank you for what? he insisted.

"You lied to me yesterday about what happened between you and your secretary," she said. "You love me so much such that you could make up all those lies." she continued.

His heart fell into his stomach when his wife showed him the videos. He began crying and cried so long that he made a river.

“I’ve collected a handful of your tears,” she said. Freshen up because this is just the beginning of the river flow.

Guess what happened next......

The Promise

John and the Manager.

Why are you late for work today, John? Asked the manager.

I am late because I woke up late Sir.

Why did you wake up late?

I woke up late because I slept late.

Tell me, why did you sleep late?

I slept late because I had to travel a long distance to visit my family.

Why did you visit your family?

Sir, I visited my family because I haven’t seen them for a long time.

Why haven’t you seen them for a long time?

I haven’t seen them for a long time because I work daily, and Friday is my only off day. So, when I visit them on Friday, we often go out to restaurants and then later I have to take a bus back. Sometimes it is difficult finding a bus for my area.

John, why is Friday your only off-day?

Well, according to my contract, Friday and Saturday are my off days, but you requested that I come on Saturday.

Why did I ask you to come on Saturday?

Sir, you told me the company had to make some extra sales, so I needed to work on Saturday. Plus, you promised to increase my salary by 20% after one year of working with you. Also, you said you would provide an apartment for my family and me.

Hmm! So how long have you been working here?

I’ve been working for three years.

So, why did you continue to work here even though I haven’t increased your salary?

Sir! I am fascinated by this job and I love you. I believe at God’s time; you will do what you promised.

Hmm, Today is God’s time, John. You have been a real asset to this company. Therefore, I am increasing your salary by 50%.

Also, the Human Resource manager will provide a new apartment for you and your family.

Thank you, sir.

And one last thing.

What, Sir?

Saturday is off.

Yeah.

                                                        Patience in life.

Patience is a virtue in life. Many people have lost their chances of promotion just because they couldn’t exercise patience. Other people have lost business deals because they were impatient.

Every individual at some point in their life needs to exercise patience because it can make them reach out for the stars. Patience makes us better people.

1. Patience makes us healthier. When we are stress-free,

especially in a difficult situation, it strengthens us.

2. Patience helps build relationships. Sometimes instead of ending a

a toxic relationship, we give the person another chance.

This usually happens when we rethink of a person's

  positive qualities.

3. When we are patient, it enables us to show empathy towards one

another. We give others time to reflect on their attitude or

behaviour.

4. Whenever things are not going well, instead of getting frustrated,

we need to have patience because things will eventually unfold at

 the right time.

                                     Be Patient

Hard Work

Hard work is the continuous effort put in a particular period to achieve a goal. Therefore, I defined success as a product of hard work.

There are no two ways to succeed. It’s just HARD WORK. However, different forms of hard work can lead to success.

First, the collaborative efforts of others can easily pave the way to someone’s success. Some people succeed because their family, friends, godfathers, godmothers and well-wishers work behind the scene to push them up a certain position or office. Sometimes, these individuals’ hard work is usually minimal. They sit and relax while others do the hard work for them.

On the other hand, some people succeed in life because of their efforts. They are Mothers and fathers to themselves. They dig day and night with no rest. These people usually have many responsibilities and people who depend on them. For these reasons, they never give up, even though their path to success is difficult.

So, never wonder why someone is in a particular position, and another person isn’t. Don’t question why it was easy for that person to be there and why it was so hard for you to cross that line.

The road to success might be different, but the one thing that matters is HARDWORK. Do the hard work in the best way you can and leave the rest to God.

Finally, remember that working hard won’t make you successful, but working purposely will. If you work hard, you can be anything. So never stop putting that effort.

Black Love

God Made me Black.

He made me BLACK.
I could have been red, yellow, blue, or white.
But No!
He made me black.

What if I was blue? What if I was red? Would there be a difference?
I guess not! I would still just be me.
But He made me BLACK.
I take in oxygen and send out carbon dioxide just like any other.
So, what’s the difference? Nothing!
God just made me BLACK.

We have our rainy and sunny days, good and bad times.
We might live in a world of COLORS, but we all have the same FINAL DESTINATION.

So it doesn’t matter.
I am happy with whom I am and will continue to be ME.
Because God could have made me red, yellow, blue or white.
But He made me BLACK.

Sometimes we look at others and say, ‘I could do nothing so amazing. They do extraordinary things because they are better than me.’ I believe each created person has the same value on earth.

We are all called to be who God created us to be. We have our journey, so we have to use our time wisely and for the right purpose.

Everything great accomplished thing in this world is by people who believed in their dreams worked hard and wouldn’t give up.

We have to strive hard to become our best selves and then manifest that into the world in whatever way we feel we should–no matter what other people say.

5 Ways to love yourself.

1. Trust God's plan and purpose for your life.

2. Pray and ask God for guidance while being patient with yourself.

3. To love someone, start by loving yourself. Accept the things you cannot change.

4. No one is perfect, so forgive yourself and forgive others.

5. Meditate on God's words and do something for yourself.
A quick search on https://www.BibleGateway.com/ will let you search for a keyword to meditate on.

COVID 19

Where do viruses come from?

Two days ago, I had a mild headache, which made me wonder what could be happening to me. I took some drugs, but no improvement. Then I went online and checked all the symptoms of that pandemic, but I wasn’t experiencing any.

Suddenly I started panicking. Maybe a headache was the first symptom, I said. My temperature began rising, and I started crying. A thousand thoughts rushed through my mind. I haven’t been to I ran so why me? Should I call 444? I pondered. How about my son? Oh, Lord!

Tears flooded my eyes and spilt down my cheeks when I mounted the bed to sleep. Before I could fall asleep, a tiny voice whisper in my ears Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. I quickly jumped out of bed and realized that all the terrific symptoms were all gone.

Praise God! But wait a minute! Why was I panicking over a mild headache? What you are most afraid of will become your biggest nightmare. Be strong in every situation God is in control.

All about me

Writing is a part of me.

' Everyone has a story to tell, big or small' that's my notion.

I can trace my passion for writing when I wrote my first book at 12. But as I grew older, writing became a hobby.

In many situations that demanded me to speak, it was easy for me to express myself in writing than talking. However, it never crossed my mind that one day I would become an author.

Sometimes when I write, I don't stop unless I've used words to paint a beautiful picture of life or situations around me. I've written several books, fiction and non-fiction. Among them, Love Bubbles and Crazy Imaginations are my favourites.

I thank God for the gift of life and for the moments I've spent caring for my handsome boys Chris-Denzel and Jayden David.

In my free time, I write based on my Imaginations and inspiration. Therefore, if you are looking for a place where words can take you somewhere out of this world, then reach for the sky is the right place.
