VALUE OF TIME

Value of Time
Time doesn’t wait for anyone
It goes and never comes back
Don’t waste it and get frustrated later on
Why complain about not getting a job when?
Clicking and liking a Facebook post won’t get you a job
Liking and sharing an unnecessary post online won’t get you a job
Getting excited over likes and comments  won’t get you a job
Commenting and sharing an irrelevant post won’t get you a job
Belonging to social groups that have a zero impact in your growth mindset won’t get you a job either.
If only you could learn one additional thing for a day,
Or develop and increase your knowledge in a month,
Then you would realize that you have the potential to change your life, and the world around you.
Get excited over likes and comments about something greats you’ve done and achieved.
Comment and share a post that will create an impact on someone’s life
Belong to a agroup where you will learn new things that will develop your growth mindset
Time is precious, so don’t waste it.

Forgiveness

We’ve all got to forgive one another because neither of us is perfect. Forgive others freely, as God has forgiven us. We don’t have to hold grudges against anyone. For- (give) gives us the healing that takes away the pain and frustration we felt.

Forgiveness is one of the hardest virtues to possess as humans. When someone has hurt us, we find it so hard to forgive that person because the pain in our hearts is unbearable. But we’ve got to forgive because that’s the only time our healing will start.

There is a relationship between letting go what someone has done and forgiving someone. We forgive when we let go the anger and resentment; we feel towards someone even if the person doesn’t accept their mistakes. Some people pretend to let go; this does more harm than good to them in their heart.

We can let go of the pain we feel towards someone without forgiving them, but true forgiveness starts when we let go. When God forgives us for our iniquities, the joy we feel in our heart is the same joy we will feel when we forgive others.

When we truly forgive someone, our actions and behaviour towards them should reflect forgiveness.

To forgive is not to forget what happened. However, if we wholeheartedly forgive someone from the harm they’ve caused us, we will someday forget what had happened because healing had taken place in our hearts.

Therefore, let’s forgive one another as God forgave us.

Prayer of Faith

I was eager to know how to pray effectively because I believed my prayer life wasn't strong enough. Sometimes we pray, but we don't get what we prayed for. What could be the problem?

Below, I summarize what I read in a very inspiring book about How to Pray Effectively. The title of the book is How to Pray Effectively by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

In the first chapter of the book, Pastor Chris talks about the Prayer of Faith.

PRAYER OF FAITH  (Mark 11-22-24)

When we pray by faith, we believe that what we have prayed for we will have them.
We need to have the faith that acts and takes possession.
Faith means " I have it, though I may not see it with my physical eyes now".
We need to accept that something exists and act as such.

PRINCIPLES OF FAITH

1. There must be a specific desire

We can't be vague in our communication with God because Jesus said, "whosoever shall say unto this mountain". If we are praying for a job, we need to be specific on the type of job.

2. See the unseen

It is only when our desires are specific that we can see the unseen. This is so true!
We need to have a mental picture of whatever our desire is. The extent of a vision is the boundary of our blessing. We see the physically non-existent as though they already existed.

3. Use your evidence

Hebrews 11: 1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

4. Don't doubt after praying

Doubt makes us keep asking the same things over and over again for fear of not being heard the first time. For each time we repeat our selves, we invalidate our previous request.

So let us receive when we pray the prayer of FAITH

                        Glory to God

Lack of Knowledge

Lack of knowledge

Many people want to succeed in life but they don’t know how to. Some people will look at another person’s life to determine what they will be in the future.

One day I heard Pastor Chris preaching about knowledge. He talked about increasing in knowledge. This is so true because, without the knowledge of what we want to do, we cannot succeed. That’s why the Bible says “My people perish for the lack of knowledge’.

We need to learn new things. For better growth, we can make a journal of the new things we are going to learn either monthly or yearly. We can learn new things from different angles in our lives. It could be in our job, family, the world around us and for our spiritual growth.

Sometimes it surprised us to find someone so knowledgeable about everything. Strive to learn something new today.

                                     Glory to God

All things are yours

All things are yours.

I will not type Amen somewhere to get my blessings from God.
I will not share some online post and pay some money to get my blessing to God.

The Bible says “ye are God’s little children” all things are yours.
Therefore, I will receive everything I need by my faith in Christ Jesus.

If I need a job, for example, I will get the job by faith while applying and getting ready to grab this job.

In Christ, there is no recession in our life. There is no time where things are so bad that you are lacking. For the Bible says, My God is supplying all my needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

                             Glory to God

There is no time where I am lacking. Even if there is a tough moment in my life, the hard moment will look good because in Chris Jesus there is no recession. We live in the fullness of God so there will be no time in our life where we will say oh things are down.

Who is Jesus coming for?

I believe the word of God is Light.

I believe that if we stick to the word, we will come out with a testimony.

The man of God Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the best preacher I know.

The reason I love to listen to Pastor Chris is that he teaches the word of God.

Through his preachings, my life has transformed in so many ways. Each time I listen to Pastor Chris, I

am blessed by the word of God.

In one of his sermons, he talked about who is Jesus coming for?

He said Jesus is not coming for sick people, Jesus is not coming to a church where people queue up to

explain their problems. He said Jesus is coming for a church where everyone is glorifying God.

In today's society, many people ignore the word of God and rush for signs and miracles. But if we stick

to the word of God, it will do what it talks about in our life. The word of God brings light to our body

when we meditate on the word daily.

The more we know Jesus, the more glorious our life will be.

                                                     Amen.

The act of giving

How do we feel after giving someone a gift?
Free Gift Box Clipart, Download Free Clip Art, Free Clip Art on ...Sad, happy, sorry or proud.

People have different motives for giving gifts. Some people give because naturally they are loving and caring. They usually forget about giving you a gift, and they don't mention it to anyone.

Other people give because they've seen that you need that stuff. They will do anything to provide you with what you need because it makes them happy to see you smile.

Another set of people will give you a gift to make themselves look good. They believe you are nothing without them and will make you suffer. They tell everyone about what they've done to you and keep reminding you of their gesture.

Some people give and take them back. These are a really funny set of people. Have you ever had a gift taken back?

The last set of people give and expect something in return indirectly. They believe in payback and will ask you a favour based on the gift you've received.

What type of gift-giver are you?

Life struggles

We have seen it all.

There comes a time in our life when nothing can bring us down.

When we become bulletproof and won’t have to prove our worth to anyone.

when the strongest wind can’t blow us down.
Even the pebbles the wind carries can’t hurt us because
we have seen it all.

We don’t fall in untied shoelaces.
We don’t crash when running at top speed.
We pass a test without studying.
People understand us without us speaking.
Our light shines in the darkest room.
When we’ve struggled a lot in life, we reach a peak moment when nothing can bring us down. People might wonder why you couldn’t crash or fall despite the obstacles in your life. The simple answer is that you have seen it all so nothing can bring you down.

Red Flags

RED FLAGS

T
he lights were off when she walked gently to their bedroom. It was unusual for Greg to sleep without her by his side. Greg's bulging eyes staring at her from a distance was the only thing she saw. Frightened by the atmosphere in the room, Grace pondered what awaited her. She crept slowly and climbed on the bed but slept distantly from her husband. Immediately she covered the blanket, Greg crawled closer to her and began touching her body.

Grace (24) was a pretty lady with a queenly figure and a bumblebee waist. She had a flawless, bronzed, beautiful complexion and a honey bee sweet lips. Gleaming, white teeth covered her face and an angelic smile. Everyone loved Grace because she had a joyous
personality; the reason she caught Greg’s attention.

Grace journey to hell and back began when she met her husband Greg at a supermarket. As soon as they met, Grace knew she had found her prince charming. Greg (36) was a charmer with wavy black hair. Though his eyebrows were bushy, he had a pleasing face. He always wore fashionable clothes, and his spicy aroma was appealing to Grace.

At the beginning of their relationship, Greg lavished Grace with attention and thrilled her with compliments. Soon, Grace felt she had secured a perfect man who charmed her with passion and swept her off her feet. Greg professed his unconditional love and treated her like a princess.

Their dating period comprised several episodes of love bombing. Greg served her with breakfast in bed, roses at work, and kisses in public. Rivers couldn’t quench the love that Grace had for Greg. For this reason, Grace surrendered absolute control of her life to Greg because he made her happy. Soon after they had a quickie wedding and moved abroad, Grace’s fairy-tale marriage quickly soured.

It all started when Grace began noticing red flags in Greg’s behaviour. First, he made their financial decisions without Grace, even to the point of allocating her allowance. Another time, Greg explained it was his job to establish the rules and Grace was to obey them as his wife. Next, Greg isolated Grace from all those who cherished her and tarnished her name to the new people she met. Whenever Grace would worry about her parents’ financial problems and asked Greg to send them money, he became irate. Greg ordered Grace not to discuss her family matters to him because he wasn’t part of her household.

To add to Greg’s controlling behaviour, he preferred Grace to stay at home and wouldn’t allow her to go out with him. Yet, going out with friends and spending money was his habit. Greg concealed money and paid cash on things he didn’t need. Then afterwards, he would say, “I don’t know why I bought that.” They were always borrowing money from people.

Acknowledging Grace’s call or text messages was a huge deal to him. No matter how many times Grace called Greg, he would reject all her calls and ignore her messages. At home, Greg maintained an unstable behaviour of silent treatments that lasted for weeks. It was difficult for Grace to cope with his mood, especially when she tried to break the silence.

One frigid day, Grace received a call that her mother was sick. Her family needed her support to pay the hospital bills. When she informed Greg, he sighed and replied, “Your mother has lived long enough.” His response left Grace in shock. She wondered what reason to tell her family for not sending them the needed money. Grace’s family knew she had secured a very good job abroad.

Weeks later at work, Grace received a call about her
mother’s death. Confused by the terrible message, she called Greg, who hung up on her. Perplexed and troubled, Grace headed home in tears, waiting for her husband to return from the office. She needed to hold him and receive the emotional support she desired.
Moments later, the front door opened; she jumped up to Greg, wishing to hold on to him tight. But to her most profound dismay, he strolled to their room without expressing a word.
“I have lost my mum,” cried Grace. He sighed and replied, “Everyone will die someday, Grace, no one will live forever.” Stunned by her husband’s response, Grace sat on the couch holding onto a pillow while weeping and thinking of her mum’s love for her.

Several minutes later, Greg approached. Grace wiped her tears, waiting to listen to what he had to say. Instead, he hushed her and told her he needed resting. Greg’s lack of compassion puzzled Grace because she desired him to comfort her more than anyone at that moment. Lying down on the couch, Grace was eager to find out why her husband was so cool towards her even when he heard of her mum’s death. She couldn’t understand why he failed to soothe her either.

As midnight approached, Grace felt dozy and moved to the bed, but her husband prevented her from sleeping because Greg made sexual advances towards her. It wasn’t the right moment because Grace was distress. So, she tried knocking him away, but he pushed her back and pinned her down with his body.

Then Grace began screaming, but he covered her mouth and hushed her. He held her hands so tight, and ................

What happened next? Was Greg truly her prince charming?

It doesn't Matter

Every one mustn’t like you or be your fan.

The truth is, some people despise you for no reason.

Sometimes they don’t know why they don’t like you.

Often they don’t like you because another person doesn't.

The weird world, right?

Anyway, when you come across this breed of humans, act like a Grey rock and ghost them out of your life.

Life is all about vision, mission, goals, hope, wish and achievements.

That’s why, in any circumstance, we ought to celebrate those who have had a positive impact on our lives.

Grey Rockers

I’m a Grey rock.

Hard to crack.

The bricklayer knocked me off several times, but I didn’t shatter because I’m the Grey rock difficult to crack.

They sent a flood of water to wash me away, but I stayed uneroded because I’m the Grey rock.

The earthquake occurred with so much disaster around me, but they saw not even a pebble out of me.

Oh yeah, I’m the Grey rock difficult to crack.

The weight I had was frightening, so they threw me in an ocean to drown.

But God is my saviour who wouldn’t let me die.

He is my creator who made me a Grey rock difficult to crack.

                                                      To all Grey Rockers.

Aggression

Jane tried to open the bottle several times, but it didn’t open. Next, she used a piece of cloth because she thought her hands were wet, but it didn’t work either.

Finally, she asked her husband for help. “Honey, could you please help me open this bottle,” she asked politely.

He frowned and snatched the bottle from her. In one turn, he opened the bottle. “Thank you, dear?” she whispered with a wide smile on her face.

“Don’t thank me?” he replied. “It’s hard to believe you can’t open this bottle,” he added.

“So, what would you have done if I wasn’t here,”? He continued.
“Jane, you need my help in every little thing,”. “There is absolutely nothing you are good at,” he yelled.

“Is it because of the bottle that you are saying all these to me,”? she cried!

“Yes, I am furious,” “You haven’t served lunch because you couldn’t open that bottle.” He signed.

Peter walked into his office and bolted the door. He quickly ordered food from a restaurant. The restaurant told him they would take 45 minutes to prepare his food.

Twenty minutes later, his wife served him his favourite dish. He began eating like a horse. Jane sat and watched how he swallowed the bowl of soup.

Tears were running down his cheeks because it was hot and spicy. Peter licked and sucked his fingers so loud to show how good the food tasted.

Just when he was about to swallow the last bite of chicken, the doorbell rang.

Jane rushed and opened the door and saw a delivery man with food.

She turned and looked at Peter, dumbfounded.

What do you think happened next?

If you were Jane, what will you do?

Talking Classroom

It's been over a month that my students have stayed at home because of COVID-19.

Yesterday I entered my classroom, and the chairs turned and looked at me surprisingly.

Why are you here? The smart board asked with this angry look on his face. I had switched him off for a long time, and he was enjoying the silence in the classroom.

Where is everyone? I asked. “Inside the cupboard” Activity Books answered. “You shouldn’t be here now” Learners Books added.

But this is the third period! It’s English, I replied. English! The whiteboard exclaimed, and the Erasers burst out laughing.

Go away, go away, Ms Rhodesse, the speakers yelled. You can’t be here without them, she added. Tears dropped from my eyeballs as I ran outside.

Everywhere was deaths silent, so I leaned on the fence of the football ground and thought about everything that happened.

Finally, the football ground said, “They used to love playing here, I miss them and I want them back”. I do too, I replied, heading home to pray for their return.

" You can't be here without them," sadly.

A classroom cannot be whole without students.

                       Go away, COVID-19.😭😭😭😭

Wonder World

It was like a graveyard when he entered his apartment. The floor was so clean that it held his feet and walked him to the dining table. He smelled something delicious.

It was his favourite soup. The soup persuaded him to use a spoon, but he was so scared. It surprised him to watch everything staring at him. The spoons were dancing all around the table and calling his name. Candles were blowing kisses at his face.

He began daydreaming about the world of wonder in front of him. But when he heard his favourite song playing, he woke up and called out the name of his wife. No one answered him.

After ten minutes, his wife appeared and answered: Yes, darling.
What's the occasion? He asked. A thank you festival, she replied. Thank you festival? He asked worriedly. Thank you for what? he insisted.

"You lied to me yesterday about what happened between you and your secretary," she said. "You love me so much such that you could make up all those lies." she continued.

His heart fell into his stomach when his wife showed him the videos. He began crying and cried so long that he made a river.

“I’ve collected a handful of your tears,” she said. Freshen up because this is just the beginning of the river flow.

Guess what happened next......

The Promise

John and the Manager.

Why are you late for work today, John? Asked the manager.

I am late because I woke up late Sir.

Why did you wake up late?

I woke up late because I slept late.

Tell me, why did you sleep late?

I slept late because I had to travel a long distance to visit my family.

Why did you visit your family?

Sir, I visited my family because I haven’t seen them for a long time.

Why haven’t you seen them for a long time?

I haven’t seen them for a long time because I work daily, and Friday is my only off day. So, when I visit them on Friday, we often go out to restaurants and then later I have to take a bus back. Sometimes it is difficult finding a bus for my area.

John, why is Friday your only off-day?

Well, according to my contract, Friday and Saturday are my off days, but you requested that I come on Saturday.

Why did I ask you to come on Saturday?

Sir, you told me the company had to make some extra sales, so I needed to work on Saturday. Plus, you promised to increase my salary by 20% after one year of working with you. Also, you said you would provide an apartment for my family and me.

Hmm! So how long have you been working here?

I’ve been working for three years.

So, why did you continue to work here even though I haven’t increased your salary?

Sir! I am fascinated by this job and I love you. I believe at God’s time; you will do what you promised.

Hmm, Today is God’s time, John. You have been a real asset to this company. Therefore, I am increasing your salary by 50%.

Also, the Human Resource manager will provide a new apartment for you and your family.

Thank you, sir.

And one last thing.

What, Sir?

Saturday is off.

Yeah.

                                                        Patience in life.

Patience is a virtue in life. Many people have lost their chances of promotion just because they couldn’t exercise patience. Other people have lost business deals because they were impatient.

Every individual at some point in their life needs to exercise patience because it can make them reach out for the stars. Patience makes us better people.

1. Patience makes us healthier. When we are stress-free,

especially in a difficult situation, it strengthens us.

2. Patience helps build relationships. Sometimes instead of ending a

a toxic relationship, we give the person another chance.

This usually happens when we rethink of a person's

  positive qualities.

3. When we are patient, it enables us to show empathy towards one

another. We give others time to reflect on their attitude or

behaviour.

4. Whenever things are not going well, instead of getting frustrated,

we need to have patience because things will eventually unfold at

 the right time.

                                     Be Patient
